Fire

Early childhood educators often teach children there are good fires and bad fires. There are candles on a birthday cake and fire in a gas oven. And there are natural disasters that destroy homes and lives.

Fire education in the early years can include lessons in home safety, bushfire preparedness, environmental issues, STEM activities, and the role of firefighters.
